Hi again everybody out there in soulsville...........

Usual drill - PM me or email me directly on mail@resolutionrecords.co.uk if interested in anything here - any extra questions/queries welcome too. Postage is extra - I'm happy to ship anywhere globally - cash/chq preferred but I'll also accept PayPal if people are willing to pay the extra % as I cannot afford to cover it - especially on the more expensive (sic) stuff. Everything strictly graded and M- means very likely unplayed. If there's something else listed here that you need to get a soundfile for (b side, other LP track etc) just get in touch and I'll sort it for you - ok? !!All soundclips taken from advertised records!!

( Canadian-only 45 with strong Modern Soul appeal, immense 45 that would fit in perfectly with today's open minded Soul scene (sic!) - some scribble on the label - sorry.....I didn't do it, honest.. )

( Great on 7" - always been a popular Northern spin - a USA 7" is about £30 now? Get this one for a fraction of the cost and it's also got a lovely pic bag too... )

( Brilliant version of this much-loved standard from 'dab-hand' Ramsey - Pt 2 is especially rocking...unplayed copy here... )

"RIGHT BACK WHERE I STARTED" / "CLOWN IN A ROOM OF TEARS" (1970s - USA)

( Sublime Modern Soul cut from this Isaac Hayes-soundalike. So hard on 45 and actually the LP goes for around this price and is much easier to find than this!! The flip 'Clown In A Room Of Tears' is superb as well....a winner..... )

( Wonderful, heavyweight Modern Soul 45 and irresistable dancefloor fodder...never been easy to find and certified by one and all as his best release...still £75 / £100 in ALL price guides I've checked lately.... )

( UNPLAYED COPY - killer, harmonica-led version of the Ramsey Lewis standard - stunning - the harmonica sounds amazing! I've never had one of these before actually! )

( Great funky/soul double-sider - as covered by Joss Stone...! Tune...even Ms Stone couldn't fcuk this one up....LOL........... )

( Lovely and very, very rare 45 - 'Petite Soul' was compiled many moons ago on 'The Mighty Mellow' comp and is a sublime laid back track... )

( Superb Gospel with strong Northern appeal and one of the finest of this genre - the labels are reversed here as they are on all copies, I believe? )

( Fantastic little R&B track - hard to review actually - with THE craziest pic bag you've ever seen too - new one on me...? Seems Jay is having problems with his bowels.... )

( Big, big personal fave people - that intro just slays me every time - sophisticated soul from the seventies and something I never tire of hearing - their best-ever work? I think so - may I say this? CHOON.......!! )

( Top version of the GC Cameron track and this doesn't appear on ANY of of David's LP's either, I believe? Great pic baggie too.... )

( Rare one!! Stevie Wonder's first-ever UK 7" release - on this very scarce Oriole 45 - ok - this one's a long way from being Mint but, believe me, it plays thru both sides really, really well and any noise / hiss qiuckly disappears...a milestone Tamla Motown release...I also have a M- Tamla USA copy available @ £6...TUNE! In an original Oriole custom bag too - middle is dinked...seen as high as £50 on some Lists...nice record! )

( I've seen this go as high as £40 on other Lists - the 7" is DEFINITELY much rarer than the 12" here - superior (in my humble opinion) version to the rare Daybreak cut, as produced by my hero, Patrick Adams - a UK-only release......let nobody tell you otherwise.... )

( Kicking Femme Gospel and a very rare 45 that I have personally never seen before, flip 'I See A Bridge' will appeal to those into the deeper end of Gospel, immense double sider outta Gary, Indianapolis!! )

( Classic Soul/Boogie LP - 'Say You Love Me Girl' , 'Let Love In' etc etc and, yep, this is the one where they are all wearing ridiculous-looking yellow moon boots on the front...LOL...... )

27) THE MANHATTANS (Carnival) (VG+/Ex+) *HELD*

"DEDICATED TO YOU" (1965 - USA)

( Rare one!! Completely essential Chicago Soul - their first and very finest LP...so many good tracks - 'Searchin For My Baby' , 'The Boston Monkey' , 'Teach Me The Philly Dog' , 'Follow Your Heart' etc etc - most tracks are winners - check the soundclip - sleeve is a bit ruff - some yellowing and seam wear - no splits - just so's you know...£35 is a VERY FAIR price for such a great LP... )

28) THE GOSPEL WARRIORS (Gospel Express) (M-/M-) *HELD*

"WAR ON SIN" (1983 - USA)

( Rare Gospel LP that is housed in a plain red sleeve. Solid Gospel LP with strong Soul appeal throughout, the stand out track though is the title track - slow burning Gospel with sublime Femme Vox!! )

( Good Modern Soul LP from outta Washington, MD - nice mixture of dancers / mid-pacers and ballads - lovely title track and 'Take A Chance On Love' is a lovely Modern Soul dancer... )

"YOU'RE GONNA LOSE ME" (1981 - UK)

( Quite superb (and well-underrated!) female vocal Modern Soul beater which I've seen @ up to £40+ on other Lists - but it is quite a hard UK 12" to find - the bassline is naggingly catchy and impossible to ignore - love it! )

34) TOULOUSE (Image) (M-) *£30*

"WHAT WOULD MY MAMA SAY" (1977 - USA)

( Very, very hard to find on 12" - deep Two Step grooves and a massive 'London' sound down the years - has niced up many a dance...Ever noticed how the intro to this is almost exactly the same as the intro to (rare) Rita Wright 'Touch Me, Take Me'..? )

35) SYLVESTER (OST) (M-/M-) *HELD*

"OVER AND OVER" (1999 - UK)

( Hard to believe this 12" is 10 years old already!! One-sided promo copy of this classic from everybody's fave "Disco Queen"- 9.31 full

length mix cut - this 12" mix was originally only ever promo-only and sells @ around £75 - £100 now..classic Salsoul Strings here...)
