Guest vinylvixen Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) I've just made my own calendar using snaps that I had of soul bits and pieces from 3 decades. I did it with Vista Print and I've used a different picture for each month with a title. What a genius way to make a really personal present for your family/ friends/SS'ers - the more you order, the cheaper it works out. So you end up with a limited edition item that can't be bootlegged Their download function was SO easy and took about 15 secs per upload - plus, you don't end up with glue and bits of sticky backed plastic everywhere. Beats the tinsel coathanger candelabra Just thought I'd share. Jo P.S - I'd love to see some of your finished calendars....I might even want to buy one myself!! Edited November 27, 2008 by vinylvixen

Perhaps do a Stafford Rangers Special or even a SSLadies Hunks Calendar 2009..... Hang on - SS Hunk of the Month and get 12 DJs to pose - perhaps topless (I'd be behind the camera) and do a calendar with all proceeds going to charity. I'm happy to photo Ady with his tie loosened or perhaps Mick H with his record box appropriately placed
Jellybean Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 What a brilliant idea for a xmas pressie Jo ........oh and looking forward to seeing you at Stafford on Saturday Dec 6th JB xxxKTFxxx

Guest vinylvixen Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 You're clearly a genius Jo! My mum's gonna love this. Thanks Jayne.x Jayne, I've also done a limited edition one for all my friends who think I'm a boring anorak which does nothing to quash that theory.....I can't wait for them to open their present on Xmas morning Plus, you don't have to schlep round the shops, it's relatively cheap and you have to put a bit of effort into it....so people know that you've thought about it which is always nicer. Last year I got what I thought was a wooden lampshade....it was a fruit bowl but Phil had gone a bit too far with the chisel BUT it was the thought that counted I think I'm getting a home made gear knob this year xx
