-Al Johnson "Peaceful" (Marina) nm/vg++ £25 Great 70 soul with the original version of "I've Got My Second Wind" plus more strong soul tracks like "It's Not Too Late", "Come Check Out This Love" or "Since You Walked Out Of My Life".

-The Skyliners "Same" (Tortoise) nm/nm £15 70s soul album on this obscure label with good tunes in "The Love Bug(Done Bit Me Again)", "We've Got Love On Our Side" and "If You See a Love You Need".

-Joe Bourne "It Must Be Love" (K-Tel) nm/vg+ £20 "You Are Magnificent" sublime modern soul tune from this Euro only released LP.

-Barbara Mason "If You Knew Him Like I Do" (National General) vg++/vg++ £30 "Your Old Flame", "(There's) Always Something There To Remind Me" etc. Rare album and with this woman you can expect high quality.

-Barrett Strong "Live & Love" (Capitol) vg++/nm £20 "Man Up In The Sky" wonderful 70s soul tune.

-Brian and Brenda "Supersonic Lover" (Rocket) vg++/vg+ £6 A hybrid of soul and rock or free soul as some people tag it. I prefer the titletrack or "Life Could Be So Grand" where the soul influence is strongest.

-The Masqueraders "Love Anonymous" (abc) nm/vg++ £8 70s album produced by Isaac Hayes. "Modern Day Woman", "Be For Real" & "The Bicentennial".

-The Modulations "With a Made Up Mind" (Savoy) vg++/vg++ £8 Gospel album with a nice 70s soul dancer in "Leave It Up to Jesus". Lead vocal by Glenn Jones.

-Greg Perry "One For the Road" (Casablanca) nm/vg++(cut corner) £20 Really great 70s soul album. "Variety Is the Spice of Life", "I Want to Live And Let Live", "Come On Down" etc.

-The Swiss Movement "It's Time For" (RCA) nm/vg++ £20 Brilliant male group with highlights in "Take Me back Again", "The Grass Is Greener" and "Take Some Time"

-Tommy Butler "Same" (Zardaeo) Sealed £30 "It's a Love In, Baby" superb 70s male crossover tune which you should not miss out on. Obscure album on tiny label. Not easy to find.

-Reuben Howell "Same" (Motown) vg+/vg++ £12 Includes the great 70s northern tune "You Can't Stop A Man In Love" but it doesn't stand alone. "You Can Always Have Me", "Funny How Time Slips Away", "When You Take Another Chance On Love" are not to be missed out on either. In a different bag you have "You Made Your Bed" which is basically a rework of the classic breakbeat tune "Scratchin'" by Magic Disco Machine.

-Richard Dimples Fields "Dimples" (Boardwalk) nm/vg++ £5 "Let Me Take You In My Arms Tonight", "I Like Your Lovin" and "I've Got To Learn To Say No" all nice soul tunes. Your money will be well spend.

-Walter Jackson "Feeling Good" (UA) vg++/vg++ £6 1975 album produced by Carl Davis. Nice tunes in "Player In the Band" and "Love Woke Me Up This Morning" and "Love Is Lovelier".

-Smoke "Same" (Chocolate City) sealed £5 nice blend of 70s soul and funky tracks. Includes "What Goes Around Comes Around".

William DeVaughn "Be Thankful For What You Got" (Roxbury) nm/vg++ £10 Classic titletrack.

-First Choice "Armed And Extremely Dangerous" (Philly Groove) nm/vg++ £8 "Newsy Neighbours" nice 70's soul.

-Blue Magic "The Magic of Blue" (Atco) vg++/vg £5 Good philly group soul from '74 with Norman Harris and Vince Montana involved. Check "Stringin Me Along" or "Never Get Over You".

-Prime Time "Flying High" (Total Expirience) nm/vg++ £5 "I Owe It To Myself" nice modern tune."Anytime Is Prime Time" is also quite nice.

-Carl Carlton "Everlasting Love" (abc) nm/vg+ £5 70s soul with a couple of nice tunes like "Smokin Room" and "Our Day Will Come"

-New Birth: "Behold the Mighty Army" (Warner Bros.) nm/vg++ £5 "Your Love Is In My Veins" beautiful 70s dancer and you also have the in demand "Deeper" which is expensive on 12"-single. Album produced by Frank Wilson.

-Lou Courtney "Buffalo Smoke" (rca) nm/nm £10 "Come To Me" very nice 70s soul much in the same style as Marvin Gaye's 70s releases.

-Leroy Hutson "Feel The Spirit" (Curtom) sealed £15 "Lovers Holiday" "Never know what you can do" and "Lonely Togther" good 70s soul as always from this legend.

-Eloise Laws "Eloise" (abc) nm/nm £5 nice little 70s soul title with two good track in "Baby You Lied" and "Number One".

-Bill La Bounty "Promised Love" (20th Century) nm/nm £8 "Always Be Near" super nice 70s soul tune that I think people are missing out on.

-Aretha Franklin "You" (Atlantic) nm/vg++ £10 "It Only Happen (When I Look At You)" great 70s soul tune.

-The Temptations "1990" (Gordy) nm/vg++ £8 "Heavenly", "I Need You" or "Let Your Hair Down" classic soul album written and produced by Norman Whitfield.

-Barbara Mason & Bunny Sigler "Locked In This Position" (Curtom) nm/vg++ £6 "Never Stop Loving You" and "I'm With You Now" nice 70s soul dancer.

-William Bell "Relating" (Stax) vg++/vg+ £12 "You've Got the Kind of Love I Need" and "Such a Fever" are great 70s soul tunes. Nice vinyl close to near mint.

-Tavares "Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel/Part 2" (Capitol) vg++/vg+ £5 Wonderful 70s soul. Danish issue with picture sleeve.

-Ruby Winters "Sweetheart Things/Guess Who" (Diamond) vg++ £6

-Leone Thomas "Thank You Baby/ Pt.2" (Don) nm £8 good up-tempo modern dancer on promoter Don King's Label.

-Pauline Shivers "Won't You Come Back Home/You're a Devil" (O-Pex) VG++ £10 great crossover.

-Celest Hardie "You Touched the Inner Part of Me/Instr." (Load Stone) NM £6 midtempo modern soul. Lovely track.

-Patrice Holloway "That's The Chance You Gotta Take/Evidence" (Capitol) nm £10

Grades are vinyl/cover.

Please ask for pictures if you want to check the condition of the cover. Covers may have die-cuts (cut corners, saw cuts, punch holes etc) even if not stated. Please ask if you want to be sure.

NM : Vinyl is in beautiful shape and has not been played more than just a couple of times. It may have one or two very light faint marks from innersleeve.

NM : Cover is well kept and may only show a minimal sign of wear when inspected very closely.

VG++ : Vinyl has a few surface marks that can be lightly audible in parts but the overall sound picture will be excellent.

VG++ : Cover is still very nice but may have some light wear around the edges/corners or light wear at front/back cover.

VG+ : Vinyl has some light surface marks that are audible in spots but still an overall nice sound. Record will definitely be listenable; mainly with background noise in some parts only.

VG+ : Cover has some wear. May have light ringwear, split seams, or small writing but will still look nice.

VG : Vinyl has lots of surface marks which will be audible in many parts.

VG : Cover has much wear. Cover may have strong ringwear, heavy splits or large writting.

VG- : Vinyl will look bad with many marks which will be audible throughout more or less.

VG- : Cover has lots of wear and looks really bad. It will have heavy splits, large writing and much overall cover wear.
