De-to Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 the lads at work listen to radio 6 and last week i heard a totally different vocal version of those lonely nights but it was by a female it sounded like the same backing track as the soul communicators any help???, ... also played a few weeks ago on radio6 in the afternoon,im gone,eddie parker and if thats what you wanted,frank beverly,!!!!

It's by Frank Popp and it samples the original version on the intro.

Great modern tune at a cheap price.....plenty around and would only cost you about £7-£10. They do a decent version on Ann Sexton / You've been gone too long which is pressed on the flip

I'm sure this is just an oversight on the part of the producers of this tune, though it may well be a coincidence that "Breakaway" sounds incredibly similar to "Those Lonely Nights". Des Parker
