Can anyone enlighten me? ta Thank god for that. Had a yellow vinyl copy myself way back in the late 70's & nobody ever believes me. Maybe now they will. Think it was a boot though but not 100% certain. Guessing it was done with the Eddie Foster & James Lewis coloured vinyl boots. Sure JM will enlighten us when he see's this. Pete S
Boots that I know of: first one was on Wright Sounds then there's the Atlantic issue - the 'black' on the label is nearer 'brown' and there's no AT stamp Atlantic demo bootleg, white and red, print definition is poor. Then this yellow thing. Link to comment Social source share

Northernguy
There is A-23116 SP lightly scratched matrix the same as JM's counterfeit description. Me thinks they probably made a few yellow same as they did coloured with Eddie Foster. Edited October 31, 2009 by firefly Link to comment Social source share

Steve Plumb
I've an Atlantic issue in black vinyl that looks authentic but i think it's a boot? The interesting thing is that it has a deeply scratched matrix (that you can feel with your finger nail) A-23115-2 but nothing else in the run-out? The Black background round the Atlantic is pretty rich in colour (not the wishy washy brown that i've seen before) Anyone seen this variation of boot before? MotownDave
my demo has A-23115-2 then AT( @ about 60 degrees from matrix) then a funny squiggle (looks like an S on its side with an R and a C inside the S ) hope this helps a bit atb dave t Link to comment Social source share

My copy has A-23115-2 (deeply scratched in) but nothing else in the run-out? This is neither one nor the other, so wondered if anyone else has an opinion on what it could be? Again, I still suspect it is a boot but would like a second opinion? Cheers Steve Link to comment Social source share
Guest allnightandy
I bought an original back in the day from soul bowl for £6 i kept it for about 6 months then sold it for £20 a couple of years ago (Oh the Shame ) i bought a boot demo off Ebay for a quid but it has a totally different label on the other side it's either a Tower label or Atco can't remember Link to comment Social source share
