Hey guys,

I know I posted this as an inclusion in the 100th edition of Manifesto but deadlines were tight. Mike is keen to put it in though. From previous posts, I got the top 49. If you could spare the time, please post the remainder (51 plus) of your favourite tunes, artist, title, label, name and area, and ideally not in Kev's top 500 book, so that we may get a wider scope of what people want and like, across the scene. Again, there is some urgency so don't delay, post today!!!

Just pasted this from Steve off another thread, which is whats he's after on here, avoid anything thats in the Top 500 book if posible. I think most knew what he was after so keep them coming some great tune listed on both threads (links above)

Steve does loads of writing for mike at manifesto, so its time we all helped him out a bit !

Bloody Hell. I spend one night decorating and a day at work and it seems as though we finally hit target. All I wanted was personal favourites of tunes not heard for a while, unknowns or not included in Kev's book to A. show that there are more records to be plkayed at venues rather than the same old, same old, and B. to get a more across the board idea of who likes what and where... if that makes sense! The first 50 from the original thread are as follows:

Dunno, that was my question!.... :D

how can you ever want to get away from that record!! :(

My other current fav is a cover up I think. I dont know much about it. I just know it as Ring the Changes by The Paradox...

Does this mean anything to anyone else?..

Thanks

Jayne.

Hi,

I first heard this record years ago and it was credited to The Paradox then so unlikely it is a cover up? Played a while back at Middleton and at the time someone said they had heard The Paradox were actually a British group from up your way, Jayne. Don't know how true this is.

Thanks for all your input. For those who don'y buy Manifesto, here is the final 100 entries including about 50% from Chalky!!! Cheers matey :-)

This will be included in the Xmas edition of the mag and may feature a couple of last minute ammendments... I said may. It could quite easily stay the same unless there is a final influx of entries.

Thanks again for your time and effort.

Steve
