Guest Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Hi you may have heard my track "Rules" on the Casino Classics: the Forgotten Floorshakers CD (Track 3). Anyway I do not have any digital releases of any of the tracks I did over the years. If you could be so kind as to send me an mp3 of any thing that I did i would be most thankful.... or drop me a line if you have any questions what so ever. I am trying to recover them so I can bring them out I am the artist and author of Rules & La Ta Ta. Thank you! Gil Blanding

Tomangoes Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Gil Just to let you know that across the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world, where folks are into rare soul music, your music is held in very high regards and it very possible that on most weekends there will be many thousands of fans dancing to RULES on a regular basis (since about 1979 when I think it first got introduced). Many of your fellow artists have also only just found out in recent years how popular they have become. Great to hear your keeping well, and Im sure lots of promoters would love to get you to appear at the many functions held in celebration of rare soul. Ed

Mark Bicknell Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Might not want or need your charity,he asked for a quality digital recording thats it!!sorry dont get it !! I know he said that Ken but just thought it might be a nice idea to send him a copy of the original record as it would seem that he does not own one like so many of the artists who made and gave us the music in the first place they often don't even own copies of their records, as Mike said just a nice gesture on our part or people who want to subscribe to it nothing more it's a simple gesture nothing more, I've had one or two records directly off the artists over the years so thought it might be nice to put that method in reverse. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
