Columbia issue is a Tom Moulton mix, fuller orchestration to my ears, the Don DE issue cut at Sigma Sound. This also got a uk release (Moulton mix)

Hope this helps,

Rob h.

More or less what I would have said - They're the same recording but Moulton really brings out the strings and Earl Young's drumming, and the reverb on the handclaps makes them sound absolutely enormous. The Don De is definitely more collectable, of course, but the Columbia's cheap enough that it's worth owning both (like I do thumbup.gif )

was the UK release on 'Epic' Records?

Not got my uk lists/guides at hand, and seem to think I've got this in the loft somewhere.

Try CBS
