last nights later with jules holland had a group called eli"paper boy" reed &the true loves..singing take my love with you....what a great voice this guy has ,its now bbci dont know how to put it up on here or if you can....but give this guy a listen he not toooo baddddd........

Missed it but heard good things, think he is touring here again soon. Supposed to be fantastic live

His CD is very very good, and in reality much better than lots of the retro stuff getting touted around.

Talk about coincidence! About 2 hours ago I was with a couple of mates bar-hopping in Covent Garden of all places and as we walked past a restaurant an unbelievable piece of Soul music was playing, so we stood outside and tried to identify it. None of us knew, so I went in and asked the manager who it was and it turned out to be a track off one of Jools Holland's albums. Solomon Burke maybe.....?

Thanks for the tip, absolutely superb.

Reminds me of when the Q-Tips were going, that 'got to get up and dance' feeling.

Hopefully he'll do a second song on the long repeat on Friday.
