Guest mel brat Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 HAS 'TO WIN YOUR HEART' EVER BEEN BOOTED ON RIC TIC?? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED DAZ Yes it was. On a vinyl Ric-Tic label facsimile C.1972-ish, as was J.J. Barnes' "Please Let Me In".
Guest Bogue Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Twice according to the boot guide Two different shades of red, both on vinyl... Dark red has 107550 scratched in....Light red has ZTSC-107550 scratched in. Originals either white DJ Or the Cherry red issue on styrene Just had a look at my styrene issue, has small neat scratched ZTSC-107550 at 5 O'clock, small P about half inch to the left of that, & small neat 1 (pos stamp) at 11 O'clock.
billb Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Off topic but love her version of Brian Hollands "Don't leave me starving for your love" on Invictus Cheep too!
Guest mel brat Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Off topic but love her version of Brian Hollands "Don't leave me starving for your love" on Invictus Cheep too! "Remember Me", on Hot Wax and Invictus, is a cracking 70s dancer too! But "To Win Your Heart" was an absolutely seminal record in Northern history, and still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. (B-Side is a really nice ballad also. Try it!)

Thanks for that, I just flipped it over and found a tune I didn't know I had, Remember me / Don't leave me starving for your love on Invictus, great double sider!

Guest mel brat Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I just remembered - what a pity Laura Lee couldn't manage to make The Ric-Tic Revue show at Hinckley in 1983!

Very sadly overlooked is her Chess stuff recorded at Muscle Shoals, some superb stuff
