Early Soul-O-Sonic is a New York label, owned by Earnest Kelly before he moved to work for Motown in Detroit. Ernie started his career in New York working in promotions at Atlantic as well as writing and producing his own material. He used the label name again later for a 70's Carol Anderson release 'One mans woman', which is a Detroit release.
