paultp
Hi all, Is there a boot of Patrice Holloway - Stolen Hours - Capitol? JM's guide says there is but the bootleg guide doesn't give any details. Could someone enlighten me please cos I've just received about the cleanest record I've ever seen. The deadwax on mine has: 45-55965 - F - 1 stamped in it. Cheers Paul Edited November 11, 2008 by paultp Link to comment Social source share
Modernsoulsucks
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PATRICE-HOLLOWAY-Sto...Q2em118Q2el1247 That's the boot. Done recently-ish. Matrix corresponds to mine altho I'd say "scratched" rather than stamped. Pretty commonn 45 really so Mint copies are turning up all the time. Seen those (disgraceful) but wondered if there was an earlier one as my JM guide is getting on now. Matrix corresponds to mine altho I'd say "scratched" rather than stamped. Yeah, scratched is a better description, there's a little sort of star too (a circle of vertical dashes - if that makes sense). Pretty commonn 45 really so Mint copies are turning up all the time. OK, I'll snap it in the shame of owning such a common Mint+ record ROD Many thanks for your help Link to comment Social source share
Modernsoulsucks
Many thanks for your help Didn't catch on till 90's [was it?] so never booted back in the hey-day. Not being dismissive. I mean it's a big label 45 so Minters are more likely to turn up just cos of numbers released. That's twice in the last 24 hours I've been helpful to someone on here. No buzz really so back to being cynical. Cheers ROD Link to comment Social source share

Cheers, much appreciated Link to comment Social source share
Dave Pinch
original has lucky my boy on the flip with a star stamp on it. The boot was only done about 5 years ago when it went absolutely massive although its had plays as far back as i can remember.think the boot has another northern biggie on the b side dave Link to comment Social source share

I remember it being 'ok' but didn't like it much back then. I do now. Not sure what happened after that but it certainly did go big in the 90's.
