The first time I attempted this I blew a hole clean through the gable end of my house, the second time I pushed things a little and ended up in the year 1957....it took some time getting back.

Excellent post. He noticed some slight warping! No Sh+t steam at 100 degrees. Whoda thought it. Would have been funnier if he had taken it from VPi to decks and done some old school scratching though.

that's also a new one on me, plus the youtube comments are also pretty funny

Seems you have to have that special turntable vacuum accessory to make it work so you can pour water all over the place.

You might fall a sleep waiting for this gut to finish cleaning his records and I wonder what he is looking at when he is polishing the record, its a freakin Micro groove 33 LP you need a microscope to see the dirt in the track and not the naked eye.

I did try hoy water on a record a while back to get rid of a warp, very hot water is ok but direct from the kettle really mess the disc up comparable to setting a piece of paper alight once it starts you cannot stop it.

can you drive a train and mash at the same time?

I don't get it. Wouldn't it just lift off a paper label?

Rather yours than mine, that's what I tried and I flattened the record but a section stretched so it was not a round 45 any more but egg shaped disc ph34r.gif .

Anyone got one of the ronco record cleaners you know the one's from the 70's like the one on the Bay if so are they any good?

I won one at Melton Auction last Thursady along with a box of sealed Garrard stylus, three Transcriptor sealed stylus, and ten sealed Garrard cleaning cloths.

But i don't want to buy the battery's if the thing is crap at cleaning smile.gif
