Pete S Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 its hard to say as a lot of these have been bootlegged so without proper descriptions and label designs.?? You need to get a bit more info from the records - label design and delta numbers. For instance - if yor Len Jewell has a coloured label with like an ocean design, it's a boot: if Lou Johnson is on blue or maroon paper labels, it's a boot; Robert Banks original is on Verve; Rose Batiste has to be on styrene; and so on

Guest Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Len Jewel is mid blue and light blue, sort of ocean/sky # 0011, run off has what looks like LJS - 0011A engraved. B side LJS - 0011B, there is also a circle stamped on with what looks like l/c or E/C engraved. Lou Johnson is maroon. Robert Banks is MGM VK10545 on lable. On the run off is K-6328 + VK10545 + 102,357 then a circle with a c in it. Im satisfied with you is Mirwood (blue), run off has MW1000A + the word SHORRIDGE engraved Regards Stuart.

Is Connie Clark ( Joker, black lable, 716-A in run off ) £30 £200 or £550 Regards Stuart. link Len Jewell is a legit re-issue and only cheap, £25ish. If it was Teri-de 4 then would be worth a few bob . Connie Clark a boot. Original has yellow label.
Marc Forrest Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Connie Clark a boot. Original has yellow label. link And easy to detect as well as the legit ones have # 58486 scratched in the dead wax as have the pressings # 96977. Marc

stomper45 Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 the fury's on mirwood is a boot with performers "set me free" on tother side
Pete S Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Stuart, it looks pretty much like you've got a collection of reissues there. And if anyone would consider paying £25 for a Teri De reissue I'd love to meet him to sell him some more of the same.
Guest Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 the fury's on mirwood is a boot with performers "set me free" on tother side link You are right, set me free is on the B side. Looks like a week end in Brid, not Mexico. Must have a look at the other 300, may be something worth a bag of fish an chips. Regards Stuart.
