Still got them all - think I have one missing Arctic (Chains of love), a couple of missing Lomas, a few missing Wands etc, one missing Golden World, but got most of everything else. My collecting has slowed down a bit, but I have quite a few records

As I'm trying to collect more Motown and Invictus could you steer me in the right direction. Last Invictus once that really got me was Melvin Davis -Just as long. Have heard some fantastic Brian /Eddie holland stuff also but can't remember the titles.

no probs mate just pm me have an invictus disography somewhere,british stuff again differs from the us stuff,some incredible releases barrino brothers,general johnson,hi lights,endless logo of quality,as for motown promos just get on the bay and buy buy buy,all for the price of a small pizza lol.

I am a bit of a label nut - I think it comes from being a colleptomaniac.

Off the top of me head that I have done - Wand, Loma, Glades, Alston, Minit, Golden World, ric Tic, Revilot, Motown etc, Beverly Glen, Arctic, MPac, Onederful, Bunky, Barry, Top & Bottom, Phil La, Philly Groiove, Phil Intl, Salsoul, Stax (US and UK), Volt, westbound, MGM (SOM), Goldwax, Invictus, Hot Wax, Janus, KoKo, Magic Touch, Venture, O'Keh, Red(d) Coach, Sound Stage 7, 77, Truth, Virtue, Innovation 2, Black gold, Vigor, Capsoul etc etc.....I could go on.

Used to collect Stateside but had to stop becase it was getting silly

Can be difficult to find a scan sometimes, let alone the actual record.

Scans can be Invaluable, how often have we all searched for a Title that may not exist.

To see a Scan makes it at the very least possible, 'cause it's now proved to be out there.

One of the first to catch my attention in the Early days on British was the Soul City Label, who Designed that Label it's Stunning.

Used to collect a lot of Duke...am on the Revilot, Wheelsville, D Town and Groovesville trail at the moment., loving every minuite of it. And it aint costing an arm and a leg

I really stopped avidly trying to collect labels around the Tamla Motown, Ric-Tic period ie. in the early 70s. (Be honest, when did you last play Little Ann on Ric-Tic?)

However I did start to collect UK CBS demos (Soul, Funk and Jazz only, obviously) around 1977 up until the early 80s. US Columbia had a tremendous artist roster at that time and, needless to say it became a bit of an obsession for a few years. (The other main advantage was that they were and are dirt cheap!) I've got nearly 200!

One label i do like collecting a lot of records on is Motown, LP's especially and CD's of rare stuff. it's not just 60's and 70's but even 80's and 90's Motown records i like in hope you can find Modern stuff.

I am bit of a fan for Pye too considered 2 of my fav's Jimmy James and The Real Thing was on that label

Ohio Soul rules! Been a bit partial to Way Out records, got most but theres ONE I know I'll never get, proving rather 'demanding' to say the least!
