Did all my record money before I got there with people bringing bits for me. Then John Andersons box gave me a good beating. To be honest Dave I did not look in Brians box till Sunday when we done some trades Hope you are okay?
Garethx Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 I mentioned in the thread on this subject two or three years ago that Sam had a copy in his sales box for some time for about four hundred quid: a well used but perfectly playable copy. Great record.

Denbo Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 anyone got soundfiles for refosoul Yes, anybody got a sound file we could all listen to?
John Benson Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Here's a picture of it: No proper sound file though, sorry
Benji Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 No offence to anybody but that was terrible. Musically good but vocally . . . . well, sorry but how is that a 3 or 4 figure sum record? £3 or £4 maybe. I have agree, rather mediocre singer. good backings tho!
Sean Hampsey Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I have agree, rather mediocre singer. good backings tho! Hate to disagree with my Yarmouth Bretheren, but I'm with Benji and Denbo. The vocals on this record are shocking beyond belief. A definate 'run for cover' tune for me whenever I hear it played out. Some records are rare for a very good reason - and this is one of my top 10 candidates for scarcity over quality. There are others . Sean

Dave Fleming Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 No he got it from Barrie Waddington for £300.00 I was 5 minutes too late Err Yes Ernie he did get one cheap off Ebay as i saw it and left it because i thought it would end up high, when i checked to find out what it went for there was only one bidder on it and that was Paul,so he must of had 3 copy`s through his hands at one time or another. There are others . Sean Oh, Sean, don't say that, it's a great record, IMO. unique and soulful, if records would be judged by the ability of the singer alone, many records would not get plays. But that's only my humble opinion. I love this record, shame I missed out on Barries copy, too, bit too late. And on the one on ebay. Some records just keep running away from me

Works a treat in Europe too. Hi Steve, If he's only a bit 'off key' then I'm Mario frickin' Lanza! Reckon he wouldn't even get through to Boot Camp on X Factor with that vocal mate - then again I've heard enough Eurovision Song Contestants in my time to know what works in Europe! Think maybe I need to drink a few gallon more, down at Soul Essence, cos it always sounded dire to these ears! Mmmmmmmmmm Nail on head? ...... just realised why you and Gavin like it! Sean
