Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Morning, all, Can someone advise me what the going rate for a NM stock copy of Jimmy Gilford's "Nobody Loves Me Like My Baby" (Thelma) might sell for these days? I've seen the book prices for it, and I'd like to see if the asking price would be the same here in the real world ... ...and to repeat a question I put up in another posting and didn't get an answer for, what would a NM stock copy of Bobby Paris' "I Walked Away" fetch? I'm sure that Pete will have the answers to these questions even if nobody else does... Thanks in advance! TONE
Russoul1 Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 hi, jimmy gilford in nm condition! never seen one would say £125/£150 because of condition. most you see are vg/ex £75/£100 top tune and label design detriot. isnt there someone on here looking for a bobby paris? russ
Gene-r Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 (edited) The stock copies of I Walked Away are much rarer than the demos - therefore, I would take a safe guess at around £200 - 250 for one. Edited November 1, 2008 by Gene-R

Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Cheers for the advice, guys. I'm selling Jimmy Gilford to a mate, and I didn't want to give it away, but neither did I want to underprice it. I'd happily take £250.00 for my stocker of "I Walked Away" if I could find someone who wanted to buy it! Thanks again, everyone... TONE

Pete S Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 I'd ask 200 for bobby paris - 175 for the demo - but I'm too cheap anyway
