Pete S Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I found this free service hosted by Yahoo and it's totally free - you could store all your label scans in a gallery or whatever, anyway I've tested it with some reggae label scans and it's pretty good, see what you think, oh and if anyone knows how I can get these scans to appear on my own website I would love to hear from you https://www.flickr.com/photos/raresoul/
Chalky Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I've a flickr pro account Pete. I've backed up all my scans and photos from the pc to flickr although public can't see the scans and some other stuff at the minute. Usually to get a lionk click on the set and look for the share option. Then grab the link yourself. You should have a flickr URL too.

Some may remember I used to run this website with all these Northern Soul label scans. It's still online but last updated was I think in 2003. Would it be a good idea if I upload all my scans to flickr? I got tons more that I never got around to upload.
Chalky Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 with flickr you are only allowed a certain amount of storage space free before you have to upgrade to a pro account which costs something like £15 a year.

Soul-slider Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) Looks very similar to my collection Pete, think we must have the same tastes! Interesting that you didn't credit Lee Perry instead of The Creators 'Kimble' on Amalgamated?? Still laughing at Stranger Cole's 'You Should Never Have To Come'....Christ, I'd hate to see the size of his gonads!! BTW, Thanks for the nod re- the Pama forum, I'm Johnny Too Bad on it. Right Click on the Image and go to Properties, Image Location. For your Website <img src="https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3138/2981355749_385988d0e8_m.jpg"> Ideal for adding ebay Images in Sales, simply add this into the HTML Editor. Or as I used for the scan below [img=https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3138/2981355749_385988d0e8_m.jpg] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am slowly adding scans from my collection to Photobucket.
