1071 is probably a reissue a couple of years down the line to tie in with her solo career after she left the

sensations but i dont think she had any solo sucess. the sensations did have a national rnb/pop hit

with let me in in 1962 but it was downhill all the way after that

Thanks for that, do you have any idea of the value of the 1010 demo ?

Thanks

Phyllis

Not certain of current Value for the 1010 DEMO

Does it have "Broken Pieces" OR "Torn Pieces" as the flip.

As I say I don't have a current Value. Prices do change over time & not always up.

This may give you an Idea as to Rarity between them.

In Manships 3rd Edition & bearing in mind there is now a 5th Edition.

Doesn't specify "Torn Pieces" or "Broken Pieces"

Junior 1010

  • £150 Demo

  • £75 Stock Copy

Junior 1071

  • £30

It did of course get a later issue on Junior 1071 with a slight change to the Credits.

The Sensations with Yvonne Baker changed to Yvonne Baker & The Sensations.

1010 has two different label credits as well. One has the Sensations with Yvonne Baker and the other Yvonne Baker and the Sensations.

I always thought the change in credits was just because it came out on 1071 but was amazed to see 1010 has two different variations in name credits as well!

Yes, that seems to be the "Broken Pieces" flip too for Junior 1010.

  • Don't know if it was simply a Pressing Plant Variation (Font Size Difference).

or

  • re-promotion with Yvonne Baker as the Lead.
  • If so Strange that they got the B Side Wrong.

The Font on 1010 & 1071 Identical

Junior_1010b.jpgJunior_1071b.jpg

At the Very Least a different Pressing Plant / Design.

Could it be different times of Issue / Promotion for the 1010 ?

No Problem.

I used to think that the "Mend the broken pieces" variation was the Rarer.

Not so sure anymore,

("Mend The Broken Pieces" or "Mend The Torn Pieces")

neither copy is that easy to find & especially the DEMO.

"I Can't Change" was played on Junior 1010 at the Cats as 'The Sensations'. (In those days the unknown Yvonne Baker didn't even get a mention!)
