Sean Hampsey Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Is it the same take Sean or extended take? Dunno mate for sure - only played it at home once when it arrived but pretty sure its the same. Nice Re-Issue I reckon, that many may have missed. Will probably appear on the bay in 2010 for 100 squid! Sean

Sean Hampsey Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Cheers pal, just wondering then why a 12 and not a 7" if same take Don't know for sure that it is, but either way I guess if those who've put it out are wanting DJ's to take it seriously 12" is much better! Sean
Souljazera Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 chalky & sean there is a re-edit on the 12" basically an extension of the better bits which makes it more appealing to club dj's etc i would have thought the price was nearer to 1000 now...after all noblody would need it now with a reissue
Steve G Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Funnily enough prices often tend to go up on stuff that has been reissued. Don't ask me why - counter cyclical forces at work.

Exactly the same as the 7" version & the b side is blank. Was wondering how legal all these Soul Cal 12" releases are though. Some great stuff getting released by them.
Tolbert Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Was wondering how legal all these Soul Cal 12" releases are though. Interessting question Cunnie. They really have some nice stuff... I was glad that it came out on Soul Cal...finally I could afford it. One of the greatest 70's songs! If anybody can tell me what the girls background singers are singing: " shalala ....???" that would stop me from singing nonsens on the dancefloor.. Thanks Tolbert
