Mattbolton Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Thats a fair price for it Pete just a pity you ain't got one to sell Stock issue for £8 from Beatin' Rhythm about 6 years ago. It can't be that rare. I think people just forgot about it. Ace record though.

They dropped a major bollock with that one. Was a £25 - £30 record in the early 90s when I got my demo at Keele.

Dave Rimmer Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 They dropped a major bollock with that one. Was a £25 - £30 record in the early 90s when I got my demo at Keele. Got to agree with that because I bought my demo for £15 at Keele, and remember being really pleased because I got it at about half the going rate at the time. Regards the relative rarity of issues and demos, back in the '80s they were nearly all demos that turned up, however since then, loads and loads of issues have surfaced. So on reflection I personally would ay that the demo is probably the rarest these days. (Cat amongst the pigeons post )

(Cat amongst the pigeons post ) Same here only earlier, got both Constellations for around £15 in the 80's, white demos, which was all you saw then really, and both around in quantity and easy to source. Demand still high for both but shouldn't be too hard to get a copy.

It caught my eye cos as far as i'm aware the demo doesn't have this on the flip, 'easy to be hard' both sides, Spoke to Sean about that, apparently he always get's them mixed up, would have been very cheap for, "I don't know" & yes his phone rang off the hook after he made the typo. Spot.

Spot. Cheers Spot, i no longer have the list and was begining to doubt i read it as 'I don't know' especially as this one isn't on a demo (i don't think) Just out of curiosity what is the going rate nowadays for 'i don't know about you'? Blimey, that's rare, I've only ever seen double A side demo's on this.

Easy To be Hard on the demo I have seen, my mate won one and it was only when it came through the door, £30 about 6 years ago at the peek £500 I Don't Know About You that is.

Thats right Tony, I've seen 'Easy to be hard' on white demo, but never with the B side. Are you saying your mates copy was a white demo & had the 'I don't know about you' side on it?

Are you saying your mates copy was a white demo & had the 'I don't know about you' side on it? He thought it would have the same A+B sides as the normal issue Ady, He was so afraid to ask the guy incase he twigged it was a $1000 record and it was only when it arrived he found out it was the same both sides. Funny he was jumping up and down when he had wont it and I was going to buy his issue off him as well. Edited October 25, 2008 by Prophonics 2029
