Steve I did not catch " Sounds Of The Sixties " yesterday , but going on the programmes' often scheduling of soul music orientated records , I would not be surprised if it did not mention the passing of LS , and play a FT record ......... Malc Burton

Malc Burton Although I didn't hear SOTS this week, I'd say it's more likely that any Levi tribute will come next week, as they pre-record the show on the Tuesday prior to broadcast, and I think that Levi was still with us last Tuesday...
Prophonics 2029 Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I only caught the Frank Wilson on JR show did he play more than that record ?.
Blake H Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Michael Ball (after S Wright) played "Dont Walk Away" and a good tribute. BH

Steve Driving back from Scotland Saturday morning the show around breakfast time played some Levi. Later that morning about 8.30 Brian Matthew played Lynn Randell Stranger In My Arms.
Alan Walls Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Ken Bruce playing 'I Can't Help Myself' right now, after a sincere wee tribute in which he cited the Tops, and this record in partiuclar, which got him into Motown. Good man!
Alan Walls Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 ...and played by the feller who's sitting in for Steve Wright. He also played the new and surprisingly good version of A Change Is Gonna Come by Seal. Wow: Radio-DJ-In-Not-Knowing-What-The-Guy-On-Before-Him Played Shock!
