there is a 2000 remix of joe jama in refo soul which is not as good.

Seriously, I had never heard that before. I've now played it 5 times in a row and I think it's one of the best records I've heard in years and years. Sad to say it, but if that counterfeiter hadn't been bought to my attention, I'd probably never have heard it (or bought it)

The artist isn't get anything from the sale of a £1500 original either.

What do you want to do, stop the seller making money, get an official release for it so the artist gets some money?

No no no, I didnt mean it that way Pete.....it was just a friendly poke thats all.

I dont have a problem with any user on Ebay selling boots or counterfeits of anything, as long as they dont try to pass them off as the real deal.

Its Ebay I object to....they seem to turn a blind eye to some and stamp on others. I had a listing pulled by them earlier this year, it was an unissued rock concert from the 70`s which I aquired, I designed the artwork and made it look professional to list it one time stating that it was a complete one off and was also never issued, it was an FM radio broadcast. Some arsehole must have complained to Ebay and they pulled the listing without even consulting me. Yet they allow someone to blatantly sell 100`s of obvious bootlegs with impunity.
