Pete S Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I don't know if the material is drying up but the new 50 track cd Golden Age Of NS vol 2 has at 33 tracks that have already appeared on cd. What's the strategy behind this?

Guest Stuart T Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 To make even more money ! link Is this like a CDs oldies scene where people will only buy CDs with tracks they know from CDs that they've already got?
Djr Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 This is exactly why I don't buy compilation CDs anymore. I do not want to continue to purchase the same songs over and over again.

There's plenty of interesting previously un-comped stuff being released all the time. For those of you who have an interest in soul music that reaches beyond the "northern territory" the following site is a good place which sell a lot of the new stuff: https://www.dustygroove.com
