Is anybody able to supply a definitive list of records that were credited to Tammi that weren't actually sung by her?

On a more positive note, I'm planning on sprucing up the record room with a nice big of Tammi. Plan is to print it, laminate & mount it to a bit of 5mm foamex approx 700 x 500mm

Does anybody have a high res image they can send me? Low res image attached - hopefully

If anybody else fancies similar image, drop me a PM & I will confirm costings. If its just 2 or 3 people I should be able to do just above cost price if I run it through work.

Regrettably I don't have an 8 x 10 of that shot, but I do have a couple of other Tammi glossies including this one, from the same photo shoot:

My home scanner is a bit 'Heath Robinson', but if you'd like a 300dpi jpeg of this shot, I can scan it and send it from work on Tuesday. PM me with your home e-mail details if you would like that to happen.

I think that's actually one of the Valerie Simpson duets that Val swears aren't her, Paul...

I think Val "ghosted" most of the vocals on the "Easy" album.

She has denied it on a number of occassions hasn't she Tony, wonder why she would continue to deny now?

Some sound like her but not sure if thats power of imagination, but some definitely dont sound exactly like Tammi, what do you think, as you probably have a better ear than I do for something like that?

I would say that Tammi does not feature on about 2/3 of the songs on "Easy".

Val's publisher demos show that she was more than capable of imitating many of the singers who she, Nick and Jo Armstead were pitching the song at so it wouldn't have been too much of a stretch for her to capture Tammi, whether Val says it's her or not.

I reckon that she's continuing to deny it out of respect for Tammi's memory, myself.

I think , as Tony says, it was only the last few tracks that Tammi couldn't perform due to deterioating health - one of them was "The Onion Song". Cant be be sure, but "California Soul" rings a bell too.
