Guest hammy Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Last year was best man at a wedding in Yorkshire (Boltham Abbey, nr Skipton). Very pretty , nice. The kind of place you'd see John Craven reporting from on 'Country File' Kinda surprised me though how,er, right-wing the people are there though - spoke to an old boy at the reception who was a bit 'Pinochet' on the vino demonstrating a novel take on race relations. Must have been in his 80s - asked if he could rest his hand on my shoulder. Informed him the kilt was "off limits" Hammy
