BrianB Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 The aliens have landed, you've been taken to his leader, and he says, "What is Northern Soul"? Which one disc would you play that IYO best decribes Northern Soul? Tough I know. I'd play You Don't Love Me by the Epitome of Sound, not my fave by a long way, but it just sums Northern up for me.
Chalky Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 (edited) Looking at ET's gaunt face and large eyes I'd say he's been on the drugs already...as for the record....Hmmm...Mello Souls, Diane Lewis, Timmie Williams....... Edited April 13, 2005 by chalky

What sums up northern for me is Janines top tune.." Out on the floor"..Think that was the first tune i and many others heard the term northern soul used when taliking about a record... Northern soul..Not Norman soul like that Cockney said ..I could ask James Trouble.."what really got you into disco "Look into my heart"................Is that not a fantastic tune indeed..
