Care In The Community - Tagging Members

apoligies for the title

may have seen it mentioned a few times about a new refosoul feature - community tagging

basically every clip in refosoul can now be tagged by any member

(before only the posting member could choose tags )

with 30,000+ clips navigating them all can be a problem

community tagging offers a way to get round this

apoligies if sucking eggs but way it works is that

members tag clips

other members can then hit these tags and then browse/listen to these clips

as you can see there is quite a way to go

currently can add tags via the refosoul clip page

however the idea of shouting about this is that the new refosoul player which should be kicking in the next 24 hours

allows you to tag the clips while playing

and also with the new player can click on tags in the player and the player will then load up the most recent with same tag and play them

should make it a lot easier and more usefull

for it to work its best just use one or two short and sharp word max tags, better using existing ones if possible

as said the new player should be kicking in along with a few other new refosoul things with in next 24 hours or so

and can see how easy it is to enter or click on

shouting now just so are aware on what its about and how it works

if look at the player when playing a clip

you can see at bottom right that can enter tags when playing

just type in a short one word ( or two max) tag and then press submit

its starting to build up
