Guest Eridu Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 I've been digging through a pretty big collection (maybe 15000 7"s) in a grubby basement here in NJ over the past couple weeks, and have unearthed a couple interesting acetates. Both are 60s; one is a latin groover (with lyrics in English), the second is Northern. Both acetates appear to be from the same studio, or at least the same pressing plant. They are one sided 10" acetates, labeled in wax crayon. The northern track, which I am more interested in, is simply labelled 'Problem'. I don't yet have the ability to digitize from vinyl, but I will within a few weeks, and I will be posting clips in a new thread once I can. Perhaps someone can identify the northern song (if it was released) off of some lyrics? "I've got a problem, I've got a problem, And it's growing daaaaaaaaay by day" Let's see what you've got, soul sleuths.

If its a male solo it could be Gordon Brown....."I've got a problem, I've got a problem, And it's growing daaaaaaaaay by day"

Guest Eridu Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Hah! You do point out something I should have mentioned... it is a male vocal, though I don't recall (doh!) if there are backing vocals... it's really a killer toon.
