Steve Plumb Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 As I've just been sent them both I thought it only fair to tell folks of two new CD releases just released in the USA from www.jamguy.com They are the original master recordings of both Cliff Nobles & The Fantastic Johnny C which includes ALL their 45's released on the 'Phil-LA of Soul' label in the late 60's & early 70's. It's great to hear them in all their digital glory! The Horse, Love is all right, The more I do for you baby, Look what love can make you do, Don't depend on me, Waiting for the rain.........they're all there! Don't know how much they are as it's not me that's selling them - Visit www.jamguy.com for more info Cheers Steve

Steve Plumb Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Web site not live yet ????????? Hmmm yeah you're right! I knew it was forthcoming BUT i didn't think it meant the web site too It's the Jamie/Guyden collection - there's loads of CD's from them been released out of Philly! Thought it was an established web site? Sure i've been on it before but can see that URL don't work - I'll have a mooch around and see if i can find it? Cheers Steve
Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 They're on amazon.com (but not amazon.co.uk) along with the other things in the 'series' - a double Barbara Lynn "Jamis Singles", 2 volumes of Brenda and the Tabulations (one Dionn, one Top & Bottom) and maybe a couple of other things that I haven't yet noticed... ...they're not terribly cheap (yet) but I'm sure they'll get a bit cheaper once Caiman and the 'usual suspects' start selling 'em!
