Guest Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Although we all love the old vinyl, has anyone realised there is a major-mind blowing DJ spot to be had off.....CD! I recently loaded my radio programme software and ripped in the most delicious tackle. The BOBBY GARRETT cut on Kent's Mirwood package, several neat 60's and Modern bits from Grapevine, the Motown unreleased cuts from various Universal titles, as well as delving into a few old Goldmine cd's I compiled years ago. On top of that, there's a fabulous Masters of Soul cd(unreleased Ovide) plus a few tasty bits including a unreleased Herbert Hunter on a new comp I just compiled titled 'The Golden Age of Northern Soul Vol.2'. And to cap it all, I witnessed a cd selling for £60 on EBAY that Goldmine put out in 1991 titled 'Ultimate Girl Groups'. I can't exactly see Andy Dyson, Butch or Tim Ashibende having a CD sales box. But then..................the future? Kev
