Rob Wigley Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Hello again everyone Ok so we've been somewhat quiet for the last couple of months, but busy, busy with other plans for next year--watch this space.! However I'd been saving our 1000th post on Soul Source to mark the presentaion of the cheque for £1,000 to Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice . This money was raised during the BRIDLINGTON WEEKENDER at the end of JUNE 2008. By collections, daft shirts, charity auction and selling stuff we'd had done plus a substancial donation from East Coast Soul Collective Soul Club. We've been waiting so we could get together to present the cheque to Bluebell Wood, which has just opened its doors to the first terminally ill children in September. We had a great time at Bridlington and Mike has just posted a look back in the news thread. Remember we are back on the 26th to 28th June 2009 and tickets are selling fast at JUST £20 each for the whole weekender ! We have manage to hold this price until at least the end of December 2008, so get your tickets quick. Once again we will be ensuring the place isn't overcrowded and remains comfortable for the weekend and we will be "capping" ticket sales accordingly ! Charity fundraising for the Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice will again be taking place at next years event, so get your tickets bought and be prepared to dig deep into your pockets for this great cause. ONE THOUSAND THANKS ONCE AGAIN TO ALL WHO ATTENEDED AND CONTIBUTED. E C S C S C Pat & Lynne, Rob & Karen, Rob & Trish.
