If you can do Easter weekend lists so can I. This is what I played at Soulastatic in Gothenberg, fantastic crowd, one of the best nights I've ever had the good fortune to attend. I played Pic & Bill too. Chris Gwatkin was the other guest, I think we double decked for about 2 hours.

Not in order, may not be quite correct as my memory is a bit hazy. There was free beer and we'd already had a few watching Sweden/Bulgaria and England/NI at the same time (got a stiff neck from that).

Varies, there were a few mint copies up on e.bay last year (I think from the big load of records found on the West Coast) but they've dried up. Got mine fairly cheap if I recall, seen it up to £125 a while ago, maybe more on one list. No idea now.

Managed to get this myself a couple or three months back for about £50 out of a sales box :D ....

Manship lists it at £45 in his 3rd edition.... not listed in 2nd one.... ....

If up to £125 as StuartT suggests then IMO that's way overpriced.... but in today's market.... mmmm....

What would you suggest as "reasonable" Christian then :D ....

Anyway.... here's a scan.... and sound files of both sides....

A side: Jealousy

B side: Heart Break

I don't reckon £125 is right, I was rather put out at the price as I didn't have one at the time. I thought more than £45 though. Maybe he didn't get any copies in his divvy of the spoils and has had some fun on the other participants? :D

I don't think this record is as good as Right Track though.

...the worst kind! But seriously though, I really don't believe in paying alot of money for records and in the past only did so for a brief period of time. It's too easy to get caught up in frenzy for in-demand records. Most of the big money records I have were either lucky finds or I got them before they became expensive.

What would you suggest as "reasonable" Christian then :shades: ....

It is for sale on behalf of a friend, he has £75 on it. Get in touch if interested. I have seen it listed quite recently on a major UK dealers list at £150, which does not have to mean anything of course, but still.

Unfortunately I didn't hear your set Trev but from the bits I heard from some of the others there was some cracking stuff played, especially Cliff and Frazer Dunn. Fraser played a superb unissued track by the Carstairs but I forgot what it was  c'mon Frazer, help me out if you're reading blush.gif

It is for sale on behalf of a friend, he has £75 on it. Get in touch if interested. I have seen it listed quite recently on a major UK dealers list at £150, which does not have to mean anything of course, but still.

Don't need one myself Christian.... as stated in "post 18".... already got Carlena Weaver myself :D .... left scan and soundclips for anyone that can't place it or ain't heard it.... did you miss it :lol: ....

It was pretty busy... hard to say for sure but I'd guess Just over 100 or so in. Most seemed to be enjoying it - tho for an unbiased opinion Janine or Dave might tell you their thoughts on the night.

Try to get down for the next one on 6th May. Mark has decided to give some new unkown dj called Ady Croasdell a chance... as well as that AndyBB chancer! :rolleyes:wink.gif

some of the RnB was a bit 'hard' for my taste; but that was only a few tunes.

> This is what I played at Soulastatic in Gothenberg, fantastic crowd, one of the best nights I've ever had the good fortune to attend. I played Pic & Bill too. Chris Gwatkin was the other guest, I think we double decked for about 2 hours.>

Stuart, glad you liked it! Some great tunes from you booth, one of the top-nights at s-static! Hope to see you back sometime. C
