Just bought this off the bay for a measly £2.99 after thinking I remembered it from back in the day, probably a Mecca tune?

The tune is 'Johnny Williams - Something kinda mellow b/w You make me wanna last forever' 1974 on UK Polydor records.

I did remember rightly, and I used to have it years ago, a really nice modern track and the 'B' side is also modern although it has more of an oldies twinge to it. anyone know of this track and is it or has it been played out anywhere lately?

Thanks for your expertise.

Steve

"Something Kinda Mellow", though very much in the Mecca vein, was a Richard Searling spin initially (as far as I know). It was played quite a lot C.1975 as I recall. Like Ron Butler & the Ramblers' "Peace and Love" (and 100s of others!) I wouldn't mind hearing it played occasionally, but do folk still know how to dance to 'em?. Not from what I've seen!
