Swifty Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Sorry if this has been asked before but can somebody help a confused man , just bought a copy (Blind) off e-bay of JOHNNY SAILS - DONT TURN YOUR BACK ON ME - MAR-V-LUS 6000 and just been looking on gemm to see if the $10 was well spent and noticed some other ones for sale and looked at the label scans but they were printed JOHNNY SAYLES (Same Label/No. etc.) Obvioulsy a misprint , does it make one rarer than the other Cheers Swifty
Prophonics 2029 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Is this the really rare on that goes for a round £800.

Swifty Posted October 3, 2008 Author Posted October 3, 2008 Thanks for the replies Folks , how do I tell if its a demo ? on mine It does show the date under the MAR-V-LUS wording but looking on the Gemm one that is spelt SAYLES that also has the same date printed and looks Identical , are these both demos? or do all MAR-V-LUS records all have the date on. Still worth $10 for a mint one eh? Cheers Swifty

pikeys dog Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 It's when the label design was registered. Cameo Parkway labels carry a similar date if my memory serves me well.
