Bit of an odd question and I'm not sure where to post it so here goes;

I'm after feedback, suggestions, thoughts etc about any tunes that you associate with Bury town hall over the past ten years. Anything that reminds you of Bury Town Hall (soul nights of course! rolleyes.gif not just the lovely town!!), particularly anything that you first heard at Bury, Dj's, friends etc that you first met at Bury..

I've got quite a bit going on and my mind's going blank. Trying to put together a track list that sums up ten years at Bury Town Hall is impossible, which has triggered me

to wonder what springs to mind for others...

Any help much appreciated, either by reply, PM or in person if you see me out and about this weekend.

Much appreciated.

Bury is one of the venues I went to quite a lot in my first round of soul wilderness years before I started going to all niters again in the early noughties

When I think of records I always seemed to hear there (at least in the earlier years) I think of some of the following:

Brown Sugar - Game is Over

Ace Spectrum - Don't send

Bettye Swann -Kiss your love goodbye (I always used to request this off Neil)..

Ike and Tina -Dust my Broom

Otis Redding - Loving by the Pound

Mark Bicknell playlist stuff like Eula Cooper, George Blackwell etc

Marvin Gaye - When I feel the Need

There's probably loads more I'll think of as soon as I click post but there's a few off the top of my head :(

Bettye Swann!...I'd forgotten about that... the first £100 record I bought. .I was bored one night whilst Neil was skiing in Italy and oops... just rang the mill on the off chance they might still have it from that morning's list.....

 ..Hiya Mark

Didn't think to ask, as I thought you weren't DJ'ing anymore... but we do love you!..

Biggest attendances, and Neil's best & funniest stories by far always seemed to involve you in

one way or another!. :D:D
