Chalky Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 After listening to Guys Stafford set has anyone got an MP3 of old GuyH spin Walter B & Untouchables - I Can't Stop Loving You - Apollo? Great stuff that IMO puts most to shame these days. Will listen to Pat Bradys this afternoon if I get the chancve. Pat IMO had a set to rival anyone back in the 80's
Driveller Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Hi Chalky, I've got it on a tape somewhere - Vince Ayres from Yate used to have it and he put it on a sales tape for me once. If I can dig it out I'll convert it into a file & send it to you. I've also got a tape of him playing it at the 100 Club in about '90/91, think it was the first night Dawn DJd there. I've always thought it's a really good record, but could never make up my mind whether it was just the right side or just the wrong side of too frantic for my tastes. Definitely one of the under-appreciated tracks on the scene. Obscenely rare, but you'd probably pay more for a Dottie & Millie these days , which says something about the scene, I guess. I'll try & look it out today. All the best, Nick

Dunno what the guides book it at but like you say I bet it's less than Dottie and Millie but it's one you rarely see! Agaoin like you say definately one of the under appreciated tracks and maybe one rripe for re-activation???? Edited April 10, 2005 by chalky
grant Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 one at manship for £300. totally agree with chalky - think i even left a comment somewhere else about this record - frantic yes - superb indeed!! wouldnt mind a copy of this myself - is it worth ££)) - ?? never seen it listed anywhere else so no real benchmark against Manships price. Grant
Chalky Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 I can't remember last one I saw for sale Grant. As for a bench mark??? Well Dottie and Millie should be less thasn a ton in terms of rarity, used to be in every box for around £15 but it's demand pushing up the price. Dottie and Millie and Walter B don't come even close IMO in terms of rarity. If Walter B was indemand who knows what price it would be????
Chalky Posted April 18, 2005 Author Posted April 18, 2005 Hi Chalky, I've got it on a tape somewhere - V I'll try & look it out today. All the best, Nick link Hi Nick (if your reading )....did you find the tape with Walter B on?
