Take a look at these 3 St Lawrence labels, they are all originals.

BUT L O O K..............the "St lawrence" text is different on all 3 of them.

This one the name is to the left of the globe !! The "e" doesn't pass the globe

And this one it's more or less in the middle The "e" is just past the globe

But this it's over to the right !! Here the "e" & the "c" are past the globe.

I'm shocked, this needs reporting to the soul police that's what I say  not sure I'm gonna be able to sleep well tonight, there be a mucho chino-a-stroking....... :D Where are the anoraks when you need them ??

The labels probably start off blank pink with just the globe and address at the bottom. Everything else in BLACK is then added on. Hence the not perfect line up of the word St.Lawrence which is in black like the credits.

Just a thought????

Well, I think we need some guidelines on this!

Shall we say a 2mm margin for human error but anything over that and the record in question should be stripped from the collection, hung up on the wall and used as a dartboard for the rest of it's natural life?

It's the only way these bastards learn!

its quite simple Chris  .There was a 3 shift system in place at the pressing plant,to keep up with demand. Each shift tailored the labels to show who'd got the most output..........................:(

Send me two of them and then you'll not have to worry about it.

Yes, I'd agree with that.

I have seen from time to time, St Lawrence Labels with a FLAT EDGE Left of Label

Almost like the Label Cutter had drifted over the edge of the Paper.

Guessing that Quality Control didn't reject small printing flaws, just used them anyway.

Realize that the thread's a slightly "Tongue-In-cheek", however, Answered Anyway.

Produced for the Irish market I recall!!!! Note the religious link on the label -St Lawrence is the patron saint of backdrops.

If memory serves me right it was withdrawn because they forgot to put the 'O' between Johnny & Sayles!

In that case, it should have been on the 'Guiness' label!
