Prophonics 2029 Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 (edited) Just found these on Ebay and what a right pickle this bloke is making of this one. Bit of a flood of em at the moment but it should define a value for the disc. Limited edition 6Ts Soul Club Anniversary single on Kent featuring The Hytones - Good News and George Jackson - All In My Mind. This copy has been signed by the Precisions during their show at Prestatyn Rare Soul Weekender 2006. I've only played this record once to record it for you to listen to. It's been sat on my shelf since I bought it as I don't really do 'records' :o) The recording can be heard here: https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=320302593187 and the others have the same scan is this a scam https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=170264598748 https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=290262253870 Edited September 23, 2008 by Prophonics 2029
Garethx Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 (edited) I think the seller has just forgot to edit an existing listing using the 'sell an item like this one' menu option. They've used the scan that was posted on here. So probably a legitimate sale, but a very sloppy listing which may harm their chances of selling the item for a reasonable price. As Roy Keane is fond of saying: "Fail to prepare: prepare to fail." Edited September 23, 2008 by garethx
Prophonics 2029 Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Probably right Gareth Humm what did you think about The Ghetto Boys being The New Wanderers, I knew there was something I wanted to talk to you about but forgot the other night. You have a New York connection and a Hispanic one in the band members could be from the credits on This Man In Love.?
Guest julesp1905 Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 (edited) and the others have the same scan is this a scam https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=170264598748 I am certainly not going to list a record on ebay that i don't have to sell. Don't collect the 100 club singles, use the money for something I do want. I also have some quite rare non soul records on there and feedback of 3400ish So feel a bit offended that you have implied me as part of a possible scam. Kind regards Jules Edited September 24, 2008 by julesp1905
