Sebastian Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 is Cash McCall 'You Can't Take Love'/'Let's Get A Thing Going' on Thomas widely known among members/guests? No, I don't think it's particularly well known... not in the "Do I Love You", "Love You Baby" type of way at least. A great and cheap gritty soul tune. I prefer his equally cheap "I'm In Danger" on Checker though. Many of his releases are good, just pick them all up. There are at least two different artists named Cash McCall though so beware.
Marc Forrest Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 that takes the biscuit as the most roger irrelevant post i've ever read, mr forrest! link Well, at least I did answered your question. In my book this 45 is not unknown although being far away from being "established" of course. The weird story came from Mr Brown out of Todmorden and as I can not remember the full story I am far away from posting any clues that might hint into the wrong direction...even if that makes me sound irrelevant
Sebastian Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 In my book this 45 is not unknown although being far away from being "established" of course. I did not say that it was unknown, just that it wasn't "widely known". Most records aren't widely known, really.

I cracked up laughing but still can't decide whether its actually funny
