O.K. we all use cd's as we play our music, I have to see a record player in a ford mondeo. we all have soul cd's, we all have cd's in our collections of some description. So!!!! My question is:- Is it ok to use cd's on a soul night?????

Bearing in mind that the sound quality is fine you are able to expand your collection with absolute classic tracks without having to pay thousands of pounds for original 7"'ers (ie i have do i love you so many times but the original???????)

I do soul nights and i do use cd's, i am even thinking of using a laptop to make it easier for me to share what i have without the risk of damage and ease of use. the song is still the same be it on vinyl or disc.

opinions please.

The use of the three formats:

#1 The MP3 (AKA RA, WAV, WMP)

For use when you're on Soul-Source :D

#2 The CD (AKA all-mighty round and shiney)

For use in the car on the way to work/venues. Also for background music when entertaining whilst you sip your Blondoneurge (made up red wine - very good)

#3 The Record (AKA 45, 7", disc,)

For use at venues.

Forgive me if this makes no sense..... :D nap time :D:D
