The best ebay item this week has to be curtis mayfield "move on up" on a US curtom promo,went for wait for it..........................£132,sorry did I miss something!very strange

..and who paid more than $100 -actually $104, I think- for the Masqueraders I ain't gonna stop ?? Great record, but at that price? that's about three times the real value or am I just not up to date? :rolleyes:

The new "thinking" amongst some of our friends in the US (I stress some) is that if you cannot "locate" a record in either of the price books, then it must by definition be very rare indeed. :hypo::)

Assuming these two purchasers mentioned on this threads are not complete idiots, :)swoon.gif other possible explanations are:

Curtis Mayfield - producer - needs a copy for sampling - got a budget of $150 to buy an original :rolleyes::D ,

Masqueraders - a group member trying to get his old recordings back. :thumbsup:

But agree total "madness"...
