E J Chandler - "I Can't Stand To Lose You" - on Sound Of Soul. This is a mystery to me! The vinyl and label look late 70's but the track sounds 60's. Turned up in the late 70's in quantity.

Wonder if its a mid 70's recording that sounds 60's.

Anyone Know???

Clary Hardy is an obvious one and maybe the Four Tracks, but don't know the supposed quantity of FT, and it is not in the same "availability" league as Royal Esquires, EJ Chandler, Clara Hardy etc - or is it?

On the EJ Chandler, yes it is a genuine Sixties release.

I think the key to that was not so much a lot of copies turning up in later years, more like loads of copies turning up as an "unknown" in the 1978-ish period. - It wasn't too long before Soul Bowl let copies go out for normal prices.

Just thought of another "Monster Rarity" that, again, was never rare, but controlled to create an apparent rarity, and that was Larry Houston HFMP
