Guest Carl Dixon Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 If anybody got a chance to see the above in the UK, would they attend the gig, bearing in mind these incarnations cover doo wop, soul and Philly? Also, would anybody attend a 'Double Exposure' gig should one ever happen, bearing in mind the group was once 'United Image' and whose hits were really Philly/Salsoul etc.

The market for live acts is a bit depressed at the moment. Many clubs have cut back heavily on entertainment budgets and many acts are playing for very small fees or nothing at all. Unknown acts are even paying to play. Try pitching it to an established promoter. You might find they would add someone else to the package to strengthen it. Best regards, Paul
Prophonics 2029 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Sure London would be great for these acts some small-ish clubs that take around 300 plus and the groups could be put on with other local acts and its close to Europe with good train connections.
