Delorise Berry - No other girl. came out twice on Cottilion and Gator.

Have been racking my brain to remember where i heard it 1st, Wigan springs to mind, possibly RS ?? or even a RW spin huh.gif

Anyway how often do you see it around for sale or even on playlists anymore ?? has it become too unpopular or has it just gone really hard to find with all copies tucked up for the crunch :)

Must say it,s one of my all time fave oldies, anyone else like it out there ?? or got one ( i have a copy on Gator  , not for sale tho !) will put a scan up soon.

Ian.

Great record. Got one off Pete French a couple of years back on Cotilliion.I sold it a few months back and had a couple of top name DJs after it. I dont know where it was first played but it's worth a revival me thinks. Tried very hard to get one on Gatur but it's elusive. Found another on Cotillion recently so I will keep this one.

Played it on & off at Solid Hit, nice record think Pete French may have had a few of 'em (may still have)

Had this on Gator and sold it a few years ago. The other side is quite a nice deep ballad. From Florida and unrelated to Miles Grayson's Gator label form LA or the Willie Tee label.

I was lucky to buy a mint Delorise Berry on the Gator label a few years ago and played it at Middleton last year. I first heard it played by my mate John Aldridge who had a Cottilion copy, top tune. Ian,i think Dorothy Berry/Beery was played at Middleton last night. cheers nick.
