Probably Not Orig', But Is It Worth Owt?

Hi fellas, this is probably not an original as the 'B' side is by another artist. I picked it up for a song so not too arsed if it's not worth much. I'm more interested in weather it's orig or not.

that is the original press, the only way those songs came out. I always thought this group had some group to raw soul express on cat because that perkins name is on all the records. guess is obviously lenis guess.

I only have the one you have, not that other one, sorry. I don't think it's a boot, raw soul is even listed as the backing back on the single artist side. Thanks.

OiOi! just seen another copy on the bay for £30 buy it now, i'm a happy bunny, only cost me £8. bargain Also got a copy of 'Matta baby - Do the pearl girl' for £6. Whoop Whoop!! Both big Cleethorpes sounds if I remember correctly. I'm sure if Sir Ian Dewhirst sees this post he;ll put me right LOL

What, an original Matta Baby for £6? Pink label? Thats a fantastic bargain, I paid £80 last time.

I don't think The Gig is worth more than a tenner though. Bloody awful record, never broke out of Cleethorpes.

I played the gig at a gig recently and it went down ok, maybe the change in attitude toward the more modern music helped, it is quite a funky tune. And the 'Matta baby' must be a re-press then I think as it is white label not pink. Still worth the dosh I paid though I think even so.

the one that just sold on ebay is pretty nice, way better than the gig, " i need you baby" is a different version of "let home cross your mind" not quite as nice though, the flipside "georgia walk" is the tune to have, it's a slammin funk instrumental, you can hear it on funk45.com, it's mislabled under the title rare soul instead of raw soul
