It's an early 70s 45 on the Golden Three label from New York and is called "Why (The Knower)." I'm sure this was played by Keb in London just before the Sixties Newies explosion in the early 80s.

Oh my God, I've got a modern tune :wicked:

It's on Golden Three. Had it for twenty odd years. Seem to remember buying it for the flip, but Why (The Knower) is also pretty good.

It's in my current playbox I'll dig it out when I get home.

Hi Brett - its The Tom-Emmanuel And Ron Experience - Why (The Knower) / When You Lose Your Groove - Golden Three 45 (R-7000) - I've had it for years for the flip which is a nice rare groove / crossover tune.

Picked mine up in same shop as Herby Brown on Blue Ash early 80s, wonder what I left behind

Steve Jeffries had at least one for 100 quid last year.

Always preferred "Why" tho' other side ain't a bad 'un
