Ritchieandrew Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 (edited) Did I see one last week `Pat Brady or JM. Yes, one on Pat Bradys auction. How do you tell an original re the matrix numbers etc. Can anybody put up a scan of an original and a "Boot" I think Rick Cooper had a demo back in the day. Also the first batch of copies came from Global in Manchester where he worked. Best regards Ritchie. Edited September 11, 2008 by RitchieAndrew
Rushden Vic Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 (edited) The bootleg is almost identical the only sure way to tell a original is that there,s a small rectangular stamp in the run out groove . attached scans are the original Edited September 11, 2008 by tony parker
Ted Massey Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I thought that was it's value Ted? ps. never seen a White demo... when most rare detroit records were £100 this was only a £10 cant see the logic in it being £800 now but if i was selling mine Same with the Masquaders on labeat
Pete S Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 when most rare detroit records were £100 this was only a £10 cant see the logic in it being £800 now but if i was selling mine Same with the Masquaders on labeat Masqueraders is a ridiculously inflated price, if we're talking about "How" - magnificent record but worth no more than £500. Note on the Miki farrow bootleg, the karate character has no eyes and nose
Dennisoul Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 (edited) BOOT....., think somebodys been out with the magic marker on the characters face...had this boot for 25 years. Dead wax reads 45-524-A / 45-524-B Edited September 11, 2008 by Dennisoul
