I along with many many others chipped in a few quid to get a gravestone to mark the place of rest.. The least we can do for this great soul man.... details.. below for tribute night.... Shame its a little too far me to go but i am sure its of interest to some members.. Also email provided for any folk wanting more details..

After many months of behind the scenes wrangling, we are pleased to announce that:

O.V. WRIGHT NIGHT will really be happening!!

That's right, mark your calendars boys & girls:

NOVEMBER 15th, 8pm

GROUND ZERO BLUES CLUB, MEMPHIS

O.V. WRIGHT TRIBUTE CONCERT

featuring

HI RHYTHM and MANY SPECIAL GUESTS

The details are still being ironed out... but this will be where you want to be that weekend, I can promise you that.

I am flying down to Memphis on Tuesday, and me and the rest of the crew will be doing our best to bring you the best possible line-up...

We are so excited about this, and hope you are too.

Ticket information and all of that will follow as soon as I get back... but don't worry, if you're a contributor to the fund, we'll make sure you get in.

There will be a graveside ceremony to dedicate the headstone the next day, Sunday, November 16th which is the day O.V. died. We're working on a couple of other cool events in conjunction with all of this and, of course, you will be the first to hear about them,
