Guest SoulBoogieAlex Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Around Gustav Red Kelly from the "B" Side momentarily lost track of Lattimore. When he finally came in touch with Brown again it turned out Brown lost all his earthly belongings again. Kelly set up a Pay Pall account where people can pledge their support to Lattimore and help him back on his feet. If you've got a sec take a look and see how you can help. https://redkelly.blogspot.com/2008/09/trouble-hes-seen.html Cheers!

ImberBoy Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Hello!!! A Paypal account for a chap who lost some "stuff" in a flood? Is this for real?? Aren't there any more deserving causes other than some one who hasn't got insurance? We as a nation suffered severe floods last year!!! There are still families living in porta cabins even now. The USA has enough money to fork out on their needy cases. Instead of flushing your hard earned wedge down the pan why not give to cancer research or another fookin real deserving charity that tries to help real human suffering. I feel for this chap, I realy do but let me take you by the hand and |I'll lead you through the streets of London..............
ImberBoy Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 The British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association provides support and care for amputees and other disabled ex service personnel. https://www.blesma.org/ Soul content............... "Lend a hand"

BUT for your infomation i DO give to charity in this Country befor tax on my hard earned wedge and after tax to many a local and national charity. As for the British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association. As i see it ALL ex-service men's needs should be down to the Goverment! I would never give a penny to a charity doing work that i feel this Goverment should be looking after. Steve J
Guest SoulBoogieAlex Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I realize there are probably other causes you could give to. But this story Red Kelly has ben working on for the past few months has really grabbed me. Since I figured everybody around here is a big soul fan, I figured I's spread the word. Just as when I donated directly to WWOZ with Katrina, I have now donated directly to Lattimore. I like to know where my money is going and that its well spend. Unfortunately, I do not get that guarantee when I donate to the Red Cross. I realize that Lattimore isn't the only person out there in New Orleans who needs help, but the bottom line is he could use some support. So for the folks who enjoy his music, this is a nice way to help him get his feet back on the ground.
